Why JuniorStarSkate?

​​A Comfortable & Supportive Environment:

  • Children of all ages are welcome in JuniorStarSkate

  • The lessons are taught in a group atmosphere 

  • Skaters are given report cards and ribbons for their achievements at the end of each season

Multiple Pathways:

  • Skaters in the JuniorStarSkate program may choose to skate for fun, or they may be invited to one of our package programs

 

Skate Canada Certified Coaches:

  • All of our coaches go through extensive Skate Canada training

  • All lessons are provided by Skate Canada Certified Coaches

Session Layout

Group Warm-Up 

Every JuniorStarSkate session begins with a 15 minute group warm-up

Coach Directed Lesson

Skaters work in small groups with a Skate Canada Certified Coach for 30 minutes

 

Group Cool Down

All skaters cool down together and also have the opportunity to practice the skills that they have learned

Ice Show 2020

Junior StarSkaters will participate in the bi annual ice show in March 2020. Practices will start in February. The Ice-Show tab has more details!
