Fall 2020 CanSkate Update
At this point in time, we will not be running a CanSkate program out of the Cloverdale Arena. The City of Surrey has released their guidelines for Skating in their facilities, and have set a guideline that no spectators are allowed in the building during any sessions. Thus, due to the nature of the CanSkate program and the safety of the skaters we will not be running the CanSkate program starting in September.
Our current contract for all other programs with the City of Surrey is running from September 8th-October 12th, so we are hoping that the guidelines may be adjusted for our next contract and we will then be able to offer our CanSkate program.
This is a decision specific to the Cloverdale Skating Club, Skate Canada is allowing the CanSkate program to run and has given it's recommended numbers; however due to the restrictions put in place by the City of Surrey, our regional representatives have suggested that we do not run CanSkate until parents are allowed in the building.
If you would like to be added to our email list please subscribe below and we will let you know as soon as our CanSkate program is running again!
